Description:
The oil filter housing is a component in the lubrication system of an engine that houses the oil filter element. The housing includes a retainer, which holds the oil filter element securely in place. The retainer applies consistent pressure to the oil filter element. This ensures that the filter remains in place during operation and prevents it from dislodging or leaking oil. It is located at the bottom of the oil filter housing and is easily removable for replacement of the oil filter element.
