Description:
A Crankcase Breather is to regulate the pressure inside the system and prevents damage to the components. It consists of a small valve or vent that allows air to pass in or out of the system while preventing debris or moisture from entering. The Breather is located on the crankcase and may be connected to the air cleaner or intake manifold for air supply.

Applications:
The Crankcase Breather is used to handle pressure from the engine and secure the components in the system, mostly used in Cat 623G Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, 785D, 789D, 793, 793D, 793F, 794, 795F, 796, 797, 797B, 797F and 798 Trucks, C175-16 and C175-20 Generator Set, C175-16, C175-20 and C32 Engine (Piston), D11T Track Type Tractors, and PR43C Locomotive Engines.
